Išmetimo bakelis MIVV DAKAR Y.064.LDKX, nerūdijančio plieno

In March 2022 MIVV  launches on the market a new model for the off-road world. The first bike to mount it, with excellent performance results, is the Yamaha Ténéré 700. During the year, ad hoc set-ups will follow for other popular enduro bikes. DAKAR is type-approved according to current regulations. 

The name is a clear tribute to the world of rallies and a specific address in terms of use.

 The DAKAR project is the result of the experience of  MIVV R&D department in the field of rally racing.

 The study led to the development of an exhaust in an essential and sturdy Slip-On configuration, capable of matching the style – and engine – of more demanding off-road bikes.

DAKAR is made of 304 natural stainless steel and has a special “pearled” or “black” ceramic-based finish, which adds to the aesthetics the ability to make the body more resistant to impacts than a more traditional exhaust.

 The new muffler also focuses heavily on lightness: if compared to OEM exhausts, the weight saving is really significant, helping to improve the driving feeling.

The Yamaha Ténéré 2019/2022 is the first model on which MIVV has successfully applied the DAKAR silencer (Euro 4 or Euro 5 approved) in terms of style and performance.

Available in Black and Steel finishes, it increases maximum power by 2.2 HP and torque by 1.4 Nm (values ​​measured at the wheel). The weight of just 2.10 kgs (compared to 4.80 kgs of the standard silencer) adds further value to the aftermarket proposal of MIVV. 

The bench test results, available on the MIVV website, show a clear “overtaking” along the entire range of engine delivery
